Hi,
I filed it for my wife. Please follow the following steps
1. https://efiling.uscis.dhs.gov/efile/ Register your by clicking on new user
2.After Registering it will ask you to select with forms you want to file online.
3. Select I-765 (EAD) file . Make sure you have the following information with you Passport number,Current I-94, DOB, A# number etc, H1B or H4 info ready.
4. Once you fill the form , it will ask for credit card information.
5. Once you submit the form . it will automatically generate LIN number for you.
6. Please Post that form to TSC or NSC what ever center you belong.
NOTE: Please do not post any other document unless asked by USCIS.
7. You will get Recipt number in One week also you will get Figure Print Notice the following week.
Hope this information will help you alot.
I did efiling for Myself and we got Receipt Notice is one week. Figure Print in next week and EAD in 11 weeks.

If they take the trouble of selecting multiple applications from the same employer, I dont doubt that anybody with multiple applications (even from different employers) will get either rejected or get questions.

Well - so NSC is doing I-140 for Apr 23rd and Texas is July 21st... I would have got my freedom by now if i had filed I-140 at Texas :) Another good thing in this Bulletin Vermont H1b extension processing have moved a lot - from Apr 23rd to Oct 1st 2007 - wow !!!

Thank you USCIS for giving me this power of prediction....alright all, now I can predict TSC next processing dates that will be published in(Feb 08) so that we dont have to wait till next month: dates will be June 23rd if processing dates published exactly on Feb 14th, 2008 & it's going to June 25th if published on Feb 26th, 2008...
So having said that, now you all can do math on how ling it's going to take to process Aug 07 applied 140 cases.....perfect example any one can refer to or meaning of hopeless service=TSC

There is nothing to be afraid of. I don't think they will even ask where you work. Just talk about Employment based GC retrogression problem and Immigration Voice. They are not interested in hunting down you or your company.

I believe dates open 2 weeks in advance. If you want appointment in Nov check in mid of October. I recently went for stamping in Chennai and experience was smooth.

Its not ata ll meaningful....I just hate to see no order of processing taking place...still many guys with older filing dates waiting and guys filing as late as a week back gettign their receipts...system any where sucks man..

Look great to me. Slowing the shutter speed and panning will give you illusion of motion but it is hit or miss be prepaired for a lot of misses.

Got to the forums menu and select I-485 reciept tracker and you will find that you are not the only one sailing. There are bunch of July 2nd filers who have not got their reciepts yet to start with. I am one among them . Filed on July 2nd no activity yet, no checks cashed .

You must be right ... I was not anticipating this turn of events whatsoever as I knew what the current PD is in the September Visa Bulletin but maybe they assign me a visa number when they got my application in June.... who knows...

Actually, I took all my documents and initially I was issued Maryland driver's license then he saw this note and called his supervisor and his supervisor cancelled Maryland Driver's license and gave me back Ohio driver's license. May be its matter of whether someone looks your ohio driver's license carefully or not. but bottomline now, I am not able to get Maryland driver's license.
Should I goto different DMA? is it illegal if someone gave me Maryland license even though there is "non renewable/non transferable" written?

Does anyone know if Transit visa is needed while travelling with Air India via London.
Asking since you dont change planes in London... you continue on same flight.
As far as I know, you don't need any transit visa but contact the following:
a)British embassy.
b)Airlines.
c)Directly goto airport and check at the counter ( a week ahead).

AILA as usual worked behind the scenes to try and push USCIS to reverse course while it's sister organization AILF quickly assembled a large number of plaintiffs for a major class action law suit. With the threat of a lawsuit of a massive lawsuit, USCIS felt the heat needed to motivate them and the fact that the suit was about to be filed surely contributed to USCIS' quick reversal of course. AILF is playing an increasingly vital role in the pro-immigration community giving us the ability to stand up for immigrants in the courts - often the only place many problems can be resolved.
Finally, a new voice - Immigration Voice - emerged to do what has never been effectively done in the past - organize the grassroots employment immigrant community. IV's Flower Campaign and its San Jose protest were firsts and garnered the attention of the nation's media and managed to humanize what for many was a dry technical issue. IV was also extremely effective at conveying news to its members and to the entire pro-immigration community (including this lawyer) and know IV will now be a critical part of future advocacy efforts. I'm looking forward to seeing the organization grow in size and influence.
